Saundra carries on her dad’s (Earl Carney, Sr.) legacy as the agency owner. She joined the family business in 1998 alongside her sister, Sissy Groce, to learn the ropes with their dad.
She prides herself on treating her customers like family and values their trust, knowing that Earl Carney Insurance is a place where people can go when they need help and advice.
When she’s not in the office, Saundra loves spending time with animals and using her experience prior to joining the agency, when she was a veterinary technician, to help various animal welfare organizations.
“We aim to maintain the positive reputation that Daddy had within the Iredell County area and beyond. When he was out in the community, he would acknowledge everyone he met, even strangers, because to him, a stranger was just someone he hadn’t had the opportunity to get to know yet. That’s how we approach new and existing customers.”
