As the grandson of Earl Carney, Sr., and younger brother of ECI agent Nick Martin, Jay was primed for the family business at a young age. He started his career with Earl Carney Insurance in 2005, and specializes in farm and life insurance. He’s also gotten his hands dirty down on the farm since childhood, so he knows ag life firsthand.

When away from his desk, Jay loves spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their daughter Braylee and son Camden. In his spare time, you may be able to find him helping coach Camden’s baseball team or watching Braylee’s travel softball team games. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Yadkinville Economic Development Partnership, the Yadkin County United Fund and the Yadkin County Chamber of Commerce.
